Golfing season has begun!

Time to put away the skis and dust off your Golf Clubs. Mount Washington Valley offers some exquisite golf courses with majestic mountain vistas. From 9-hole to 18 hole courses, some are set at grand hotels and others cross covered bridges and vintage train tracks. The valley’s golf courses span the countryside in the beautiful White Mountains.

BRETTON WOODS GOLF COURSES The Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods features two golf courses. The Mount Pleasant Course is a 9-hole course that is par 35 and will challenge first-time players and entertain seasoned players, providing a pressure-free environment for all abilities. The 18-hole Mount Washington Course is par 72 and has been regularly voted as “One of the Best Courses You Can Play” in Golf Week Magazine. There’s a fully stocked pro shop, lessons with PGA professionals and enjoyment at The Grille Clubhouse.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN HOUSE GOLF CLUB is set in Jackson at the base of one of New Hampshire’s oldest historic hotels. This course overlooks Jackson Village and follows the Wildcat River. Featuring 9 holes, each with a different perspective of the surrounding mountains, golfers can play a round at this par 32 course and end their day with dinner at Highfields Restaurant or Eagle’s Landing Tavern both in the hotel, as well as several local eateries in the Village of Jackson including the Wildcat Inn & Tavern and the J-Town Deli & Country Store.

INDIAN MOUND GOLF CLUB in Center Ossipee ‍is considered “one of New Hampshire’s most popular golf courses.” This accessible par 70 golf course features 9 holes on a relatively level first half of the course, followed by gentle rolling terrain on the second half. Indian Mound is considered "one of New Hampshire's most popular golf courses.” Indian Mound offers a pro shop, lessons and tournaments, and the Rivers Edge Grille and Tavern.

HALES LOCATION GOLF COURSE is a 9 hole course that features views of White Horse Ledge and Cranmore Mountain. With its mountain views and meticulously kept grounds, Golf Magazine has stated that “Hales Location is one of the most unique and singularly beautiful golf developments in the country.” This professional par 36 course is challenging, but also approachable for a range of players. Golfers will find long fairways, several water hazards and carefully placed sand traps. At the end of your game, drinks, light fare and dinner are served at the White Mountain Hotel. The Golf Course is situated among some beautiful homes that line the fairways.

WENTWORTH GOLF CLUB is an 18 hole course where you will enjoy weaving throughout Jackson Village. As you make your way through the course, you’ll enjoy views of the Presidential Range and follow along the Wildcat and Ellis Rivers. Madeline’s Sandwich and Deli is located on the 18th hole and The Red Fox Bar and Grille is just down the road. The Wentworth Condos are situated around the beautiful course.
